Verandah House – Award-Winning Custom Home Design in Luddenham
The Verandah House in Twin Creeks, Luddenham is a striking example of custom contemporary home design in Penrith, recognised as a winner in the Penrith City Council Design Awards and featured in Best Australian Architecture Magazine as well as the Daily Telegraph Home Magazine (“Who Needs A Brief Anyway”).
Sustainability Meets Luxury
As Sustainable Design experts, sustainability was at the heart of this project, forming the backbone of the design. At the same time, we wanted to incorporate luxury and drama, creating a bold architectural statement that stands out in the Penrith region.
Industrial Elegance with Natural Warmth
Drawing inspiration from modern industrial and commercial buildings, the home combines steel, rock, glass, timber, and concrete. To soften the industrial feel, we added recycled timbers and stone, along with neutral tones throughout the palette, giving the home a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Pool-Centric Outdoor Living
The pool was a central feature in the design, acting as the focal point for entertainment and outdoor living. The layout seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor spaces, reflecting a lifestyle-focused approach that maximises both functionality and visual impact.
