Designed for a developer with a tight budget in a subdivision aimed at first and second-home buyers in the Newcastle municipality’s mid-north coast area. The site is sloping in a bushfire-prone area designated as BAL 29, with the added issues related to mine subsidence. The experience of bringing this one to life did have its fair share of challenges which were well worth the effort given the outcome.
