THE BRIEF
The brief for these duplex projects was to create two well-resolved homes on a single residential site, with each dwelling designed to feel private, functional and individually liveable. Key considerations included façade balance, internal amenity, driveway access, private open space, natural light, acoustic separation and efficient use of the available building footprint.
DESIGN RESPONSE
Our design responses focused on creating cohesive paired dwellings that present well from the street while still providing each home with its own sense of identity and privacy. Through careful planning, architectural drafting and approval documentation, each duplex was designed to balance streetscape character, practical construction, market appeal and long-term residential value.
