The owners of the Banyan House at Norwest Bella Vista have finally moved into their home after a 12-month design process and another good 20-month build.
Several issues made this site complicated.
It was a relatively steep block of land for suburban standards. The property developer Mulpha had a lot of input on the appearance before we could lodge to the council, and once lodged, we had four neighbor objections that the council did not want to deal with. On behalf of the owners, we responded and negotiated with the neighbors for mutually acceptable changes.
Thank goodness we finally got there, but it took a lot of perseverance and negotiation which was essential to finally get approval.
The owners are now enjoying their new home and location.
Here are a few snaps to show the outcome. Once the owners settle in and all the gardens/landscaping are established, we will be back to take some professional images.
