This luxury custom home in Twin Creeks Estate was a real win for us, picking up awards for both the building design and the interiors. Right from the start, the client’s main priority was making sure the pool and the floor plan worked together as one seamless space.

To make that happen, we oriented the pool to the north-east. This was a strategic move to block those harsh south-westerly winds while still catching the cooling summer breezes. We used large glazed sections in the main living areas to frame the pool and garden views, which also helps soak up that essential winter sun. One of the best features is that the house itself provides natural shade over the pool during the heat of summer, so there was no need for bulky shade sails or extra structures cluttering the view.

Inside, we kept the high-volume living spaces well away from the bedrooms to make sure the home felt private and quiet. For us, this project really highlights how Western Sydney building design can be practical, beautiful, and environmentally aware all at once.
