Project Overview
River Road Villa House is a strong example of how an older, modest home can be transformed into a bright, functional and contemporary family residence. Located on River Road in Leonay, the project involved reworking a 1970s cottage into a modern custom-designed home that better suited the owners’ lifestyle while maintaining a strong connection to its Nepean River setting.
Corner Block Renovation & Spatial Planning
Situated on a near-level 645m² corner block, the redesign focused on maximising space, natural light and everyday functionality. Renovating a 1970s cottage involved several challenges, including outdated layouts and structural limitations, so the internal spaces were carefully reconfigured to improve flow, openness and connectivity throughout the home.
